All committee and officers will have a station account, editors, producers and other members may request one at a meeting or my contacting the computing team by email or on Slack.

A station account allows you to log into most of our remaining systems. They usually take the form of firstname.lastname and grant you access to the computers in the studio, if you are able to use them.

To use your account to log into a studio computer, just use your username firstname.lastname and the password you set/were given.

To change your password, log onto one of the studio computers and press Ctrl+Alt+Del on the keyboard, then choose ‘Change password’. You will then be able to set a password of your choice, but please keep it secure!

You can also use your Station Account to access your YSTV emails. To do this, click ‘Go to webmail’ at the top of this page and enter your email address and the same password that you set. You will then be able to see and reply to any emails there.

If you have an officership or any other YSTV email address, you will access it with the same login and see the emails in the same place. If you want to send emails from this alternative address, please follow this documentation.

If you want to access your emails using an external mail client (anything other than our webmail service), you will need to follow this documentation. You will need to contact the computing team to complete this.

If you have any problems with your Station Account, please contact the Computing Team.
